- ESL Center volunteers are the cornerstone of our organization. Without volunteers we would not be able to impact so many lives and on such a personal level. Last year our volunteers donated close to 10,000 hours to teaching English to refugees and immigrants in Salt Lake County. While ESL classes are available, there can be no doubt that individualized instruction from a tutor is ideal.
